Party In The Park is a two day family friendly, free music festival hosted in Whitecourt's Rotary Park on June 15 & 16, 2018.
This two day event offers great entertainment for all ages and showcases high profile artists, emerging artists, and local musicians and artisans! Party In The Park has various food vendors and a beer garden, bouncy houses, inflatable bubble ball suits and laser tag, balloon art and facepainting! There is even a Kid's Fest specific performance on Saturday afternoon to kick off the day.
We are proud to offer a fantastic weekend on June 15 and 16 for the community and surrounding areas to enjoy. Party In The Park has brought the community together for the past 11 years and we are excited for the 12th annual festival this June, 2018.

Abbie Mota is a singer, songwriter and recording artist.
Abbie’s performances are based around her piano and guitar. She is vast in the genres she sings but her roots are in pop and modern country. Abbie is also currently recording new music and posting it on her social media outlets.
Through out the past couple years Abbie has been a finalist in St. Albert’s got talent, St. Albert Idol and Future Fest , a semi finalist in Big Valley Jamboree; Road to Main Stage and has won Future Fest in 2015 which gave her the opportunity to work in a professional recording studio. She’s had the privilege to perform at many charities like CIBC Run for the Cure, CNIB Concert In The Dark, Parkinson Step and Stride, and many community fund raisers. She has also played in many venues like the Needle Vinyl Tavern, Arcadia Bar, Almanac and Wild Earth Cafe.

Hannah Scott Music
Hannah Scott is 16 year old from Edmonton, Alberta. She attends Victoria School of the Arts where she continues to grow and develop her skills needed to make her a well-rounded artist. During her time at Victoria School, Hannah has performed in several musical productions: Willy Wonka, Honk, Once on This Island, West Side Story and Shrek.
In 2015, Hannah joined Resonate Music School to further her knowledge in vocal lessons and song writing. Hannah continues to practices the genres of R &B, Soul and Pop. Her favourite musical inspirations are: Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Adele, Beyoncé, Aretha Franklin, and Etta James.
Hannah thanks Resonate Music School for believing in her voice and allowing her the opportunity to showcase her love for music. Hannah’s dream one day is to share her music to the world and someday be that inspiration for another artist.
Yawew Smith is a metis singer-songwriter from northern Alberta, Canada. His influences draw from early blues, folk, "outlaw" country, psychedelia, and punk rock.

No cover is charged for our Happy Hour performances, but we do pass a hat around the audience to collect donations for the performer. The owners of The Needle Vinyl Tavern were inspired to do this after witnessing the system in Austin, TX. There is never any pressure to donate, but it is appreciated as every penny goes to the performer(s). Thank you for supporting the local music scene!
Abbie Mota is an Edmonton based singer, songwriter and recording artist. She loves to sing, record music, and perform live in front of audiences. She has been passionate about music from an early age. Abbie’s performances are based around her piano and she has recently started to play the guitar. Her music genres range from modern country to pop and rock.

Abbie has performed at different charity events including the CNIB concert in the dark in Calgary and Edmonton, community fundraisers with CIBC Run For The Cure, Flexxaire Walk and Step for Parkinson Alberta, The Kidney Foundation, and McKernan Community League, and continues to play in business venues across the Province. Abbie is a current semi-finalist for The Road To Main Stage for Big Valley Jamboree competition held next month in Camrose.

Covenant is St. Albert based band made up of a group of 14 – 17 years old that were formed at Visionary Center for the Performing Arts school where they all attend the Band Factory program. Meeting once a week under the guidance of Sean Presiloski, the band continues to grow in the diversity of genres. The band was formed with Ryan Simmons (guitar), Ryan Priem (guitar), Raunak Singh (guitar), Shea Livingston (base), and Ethan Gaudry (drums). In the search for a lead singer, Abbie Mota joined them this past April to complete the band. Looking to make their mark in the local Edmonton music scene, stay tuned for future performances from this young and upcoming group.
Hannah is a singer of power ballads and pop songs in English and Filipino. She has performed at various venues and competitions in the last three years. This year she won the St. Albert’s Got Talent and the Futures Fest competition in her age category. She loves a live audience! Hannah is 9 years old and has been singing for audiences since she was 6. .

Alexa Smith is a 13 year old aspiring actress and singer born in Toronto, she moved to Edmonton with her family at the young age of 2. Passionate about what she does...Alexa has been in music videos, films and stage productions. She has performed at Big Valley Jamboree, Leduc Rodeo and various venues in and around the City of Edmonton. Alexa continues to explore her love for music through songs and songwriting.
Kaeli Morris is a singer, songwriter from Edmonton, she was a finalist at K days in 2015, and was a semi finalist in the road to main stage at BVJ last year. She is competing in Road to main stage again this year, and has sang at the needle vinyl tavern in Edmonton.
Lauren is 13 years old and is a singer/songwriter from Sherwood Park.
She has been performing for 7 years and loves all genres of music. She enjoys singing, playing guitar and piano, acting, dancing and photography. .
